Ahoy there me hearties! As our Pirate topic came to an end, we enjoyed a great day at South Bay Beach. Thanks to all the parents who organised am exciting ramge of activities. The children loved Splat the Rat, Hoist the Jolly Roger, walking the plank and floating the boat. The day was completed with pirate cupcakes and some great tattoos. Maths Fun Day

Last Friday all P1 enjoyed their first Maths Fun Day. The theme of the day was Teddy Bears. All the children brought their favourite bear from home. Throughout the day they enjoyed weighing their bear, making bear patterns and ordering the bears who were all given a number between 1 and 100. The children also had a chance to be creative by using shapes to make a bear. By far the most popular activity was graphing the colours of Gummi Bears and YES they got to eat them...easy to see why this activity was so popular.
